Annual Gatherings
The annual gathering is a highlight of the year for the New Guinea collector. It always takes place at the beginning of October in a variety of German towns or cities. Here you will find a list of the places at which past meetings have been held (You have to log in first). The yearly gathering is a very special event for the New Guinea collector as can be reckoned by the high attendance of forty to fifty participants.
Apart from the informal gathering, one can view collections at the meeting, purchase or trade stamps and covers, and what is especially important, exchange information and experiences.
To all of this newcomers will always receive a friendly welcome.
Many members bring their spouse or a friend to this annual gathering. For those accompanying the collector there is always a special programme. Here, too, there is no anxiety for the newcomer -- they will always be sincerely welcomed.
