The Kandrian Post Office opened on July 29, 1950 and replaced the previous day's closure of the Gasmata Post Office.
At the beginning the Relief date stamp No. 5 came into use, which was replaced by Relief No. 4 date stamp on September 10.
The newly opened post office did not have its own registration labels. Until the end of October 1952 the registration labels of the former Gasmata Post Office were used.
