Aitape
The Post Office at Aitape had a date stamp right from the beginning on August 17, 1946.

During the period April 1950 until May 1951 the Relied date stamp N° 3 was brought into service.

This date stamp is often used in conjunction with a rectangular rubber stamp with the town's name. There are two known varieties measuring 6 x 31 mm and 8 x 22 mm.
